How to Disconnect Wi-Fi Hotspot on Computer with CMD? (For software)

You can also do this on any Windows 10 / 8.1 / 8/7.

Here’s a preview of Windows 10.Take a look and take action …

1) Enter cmd in -Search:

Click Command Prompt.

2) Type netsh wlan show drivers and hit Enter.

3) -Hosted network supported: OK when it appears.

4: Continue: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = allow ssid = Lin key = 12345678.

Enter Lin’s name here today.

Fill in your favorite Password: 12345678.

5) – Add netsh wlan start hostednetwork and hit Enter again.

Then hit Command prompt.

6: In the Run box (type + R), type ncpa.cpl

OK.

7) Click on your Wi-Fi that is running Network Connections

Click Properties.

8) – In the Wi-Fi Properties, click Sharing and check on Allow.

Then, Home Networing Connection: Select the Locsl Area Connection * 13 in the bar

At the bottom of the dialog, allow “Allow”, then click OK.

In Connections: If Private Network

Wi-Fi is available on computers.

In the Command Prompt, turn off Wi-Fi Hotspot

netsh wlan stop hostednetwork:

Shut it down.
